Gal Gadot starrer ‘Wonder Woman’ became a massive hit when it came out last year. The sequel for the film is already in the works and now it looks like even Bollywood has taken inspiration from the DC superhero film.
According to reports, a project on India’s first female superhero is underway, starring none other than Deepika Padukone!
It seems that the development of the film has been kept under wraps with the actress holding secret meetings with the creative team. At the moment, the film only seems to be in the concept stage with the script in the works. The project is expected to be launched in 2019. As for the budget, if rumours are to be believed, then the film will have a whopping Rs 300 crore budget. Considering the fact that Deepika has done a high octane Hollywood film already, she seems to be a perfect choice for the part.
