The Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating into the 2019 Easter Sunday terror bombings is set to meet today (18).
The recording of testimonies is scheduled to commence at 12.30 pm this afternoon, stated the Commission.
Five individuals have been summoned to testify before the Commission today.
Two officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Katana Divisional Secretary H. H. Kiriella, and two residents of Katuwapitiya in Negombo have been summoned in this manner.
The Commission of Inquiry, whose operations were temporarily halted recently due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, recommenced its investigations on May 14.
